Quinta da Grila lies in the middle of Portugal, (route description) in one of the Beira provinces. Between the cities

Coimbra and Guarda, near the small town Oliveira do Hospital. Situated between two rivers the Alva and the Mondego.

One of the most beautiful parts of Portugal (we think) because of the climatological position. Not too much rain but certainly no droughts, so everything is fresh and green. Many rivers which ensure a fresh nature. The mountains within reach forms a natural buffer for too hot air from the inland country of Spain and the cold air in the winter.

In short, in our opinion the most suitable spot.
