The quinta is located on the edge of the mountain Serra da Estrela. A great starting point for all kinds of different types of trips, by horse, on mtb, by car or walking. When you cross the Rio Alva, (about  2 km distance of the quinta) you reach a mountainous area. If you head to the river the Mondego then  you reach a more undulating area. Both rivers are great to swim in and particularly the Rio Alva has many nice Praia's with beaches and terraces. On 5 km distance of the quinta you'll find the old village Oliveira do  Hospital with nice shops, restaurants and terraces. Here you also find hypermarkets such as the Intermarché and Lidll.

Our quinta is composed of almost 4 ha sloping area with forest, in which loaf, needle, olive and fruit trees. Of course we also have meadows  for our horses and other animals. We have a splendid view on the Serra da Estrela, olive orchards and vintages. Every morning or afternoon the shepherd passes with its herd. There are small sparkling streams in the area where many small animals live. We would like to share our quinta, oasis of rest and natural beauty, with you!
